Schiber Truck Company is fully equipped with a fleet of specialized equipment which meets or exceeds DOT specifications. A preventive maintenance program and demanding service standards ensure that all equipment is safe, reliable and operable at all times.

Schiber Truck Company Vehicle Maintenance Program
All preventive maintenance inspections and repairs are performed in the company shop utilizing The Maintenance Council’s recommended practices and OEM recommendations. Outside service is used for major overhauls and tank barrel repairs. Tank testing and inspection are done in house, where all mechanics have been trained and certified in V.I.K.P. inspections by Quality Management Institute of Milwaukee. The Maintenance Dossier computer program is used for maintenance records and PM scheduling as well as bar coded inventory control.

At Schiber Truck Company, safety is totally integrated into the organization. Each employee is trained to recognize their personal responsibility in safety. This safety philosophy has been developed to reflect and communicate the proactive safety attitude maintained every day at our company. Our overall safety program includes standards for employee selection, supervision, training, accident prevention, investigation and reporting.
